Cookies used on this site

This page explains what cookies are, which ones Cloudtracebase uses on cloudtracebase.digital, and how you can accept, reject, or later change that choice. It complements our privacy notice.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. Some are required for basic behaviour (remembering a consent choice). Others help us see which studio pages are read. Similar storage, such as localStorage, is treated the same way on this site.

Types we use

Essential. These remember that you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies and keep the banner from returning every visit. The site remains fully usable if you reject analytics: programmes, journal, forms, and legal pages all work.

Analytics (optional). Only if you press Accept. These help us understand aggregate readership (for example, whether the floor-analytics page is opened more than pricing). They are not used to build advertising profiles.

Cookies table

Name Purpose Duration Provider
cloudtracebase_cookie_consent Stores your Accept or Reject choice so the banner does not reappear every page load. Essential for honouring that choice. Until you clear site data (localStorage) Cloudtracebase (first party)
_ctb_read Optional analytics: counts page views in aggregate after Accept. Never set if you Reject. 6 months Cloudtracebase (first party)
fonts.gstatic.com / fonts.googleapis.com Third-party font files. The browser may cache them. They are not used to measure your reading of our programmes. Set by Google Fonts cache policy Google Fonts (third party)

How to manage or disable cookies

On first visit the banner offers Accept and Reject with equal clarity. Your choice is stored under the brand-prefixed key cloudtracebase_cookie_consent. To change it later, clear site data for cloudtracebase.digital in your browser, then reload; the banner will return. You can also block cookies entirely in browser settings. Rejecting does not block enrolment enquiries or reading the journal.

Third-party cookies

We load typefaces from Google Fonts. Image hosts (such as Unsplash or Pexels) may set their own cookies if you load those assets; we do not control their policies. We do not embed social pixels or advertising networks. If we add a video host later, we will update this table before it goes live.

Impact of disabling

Disabling essential storage may make the cookie banner return on every page. Disabling optional analytics simply means we will not count your visits. Disabling third-party font or image requests may change how the page looks; content remains readable in system fonts.
